New job offer!

Well, I guess you could say last week went really well :) However, someone has to get fired before I can take their place. I don't think that will happen anytime soon. You see the job offer came from a co-worker that is getting her own site and trying to get her "team" in place. What she doesn't understand is that isn't how things work. I wish it was but it's not. She is still going to try with all her might to get me over to her site. I love her....she just made my month. It's nice to hear someone say your doing a great job and I'd like you on my team. I'm walking on air :)

I know this is how I'm gonna be feeling in about 2 weeks. I'm just as bad as the kids when it comes to not wanting school to start. I just wonder how many kindergartners are going to have total meltdowns the first week of school?! I feel so bad for them when they get so sad.

Tomatoes, Tomatoes, Tomatoes!

My tomato plant has peaked! I now have so many tomatoes I don't know what to do. I have found myself searching for tomato recipes on the internet and I have come across some really good ones. I have also thought about dehydrating some but I'm not sure how to store them. I guess I be looking that up as soon as I'm done here.

Tomatoes!

One has gotten so big it fell out of the tomato cage it was in!
There are actually 2 tomato plants in this picture. One is a cherry tomato plant and the other is one called beefsteak. The beefsteak variety is a regular sized tomato that is good for putting on burgers.

My friend was under some chairs yesterday trying to stay cool. It is starting to warm up again just in time for the weekend.

It's been awhile

Work has gotten crazy yet again and taken all my extra time. But..... soon I will have lots of free time till the next project starts up. I think I will have about a month off so I should be able to take loads of photos! Please come back and visit as I will be putting up new pictures very very soon.

Not again!

I just clicked on the photo and zooooom was it huge! I really gotta figure out how to resize the photos. This camera has different software so it will take me awhile to fuss with it and get it right. Hopefully tomorrow I will post some that will be a better viewing size.

Yet another new camera

I couldn't get used to the Fuji camera so I got a Panasonic Lumix. I have to say I totally love this camera. It is so easy to use and takes great shots. Here is a photo I took with it. No photo editing done to it either. Very vivid colors!! I will take more and post them as soon as I can. I plan on doing a bit of flower shopping tomorrow and I will bring the camera with me. I love taking pictures of flowers! Mother Nature makes the best things to take photos of :)

Wow....that photo was huge!

Just clicked on the photo of the cat and realized how big that photo was! I took a second look at the software that came with the camera and I think I found the problem. Hope this works better for web viewing now.

Finally got a camera!

I finally got a new camera. I bought a Fuji Finepix and started snapping away. I have to get the card to go in it because right now it only holds 8 photos! I have to say I expected better quality photos but it is getting late here and I took a few pic's as the sun was going down. I will try again tomorrow when the light outside is better.



This is a picture of a cat that has adopted me :) I have been seeing this cat in my backyard for about 2-3 years now. I have never been able to get close to him or her till now. It was looking at my cat through my sliding glass door one day when she was eating so I decided to give it the food she didn't finish. The poor thing ate so fast I thought it was going to choke. Ever since then I have given it the food that my cat won't eat. Today I was rewarded with several head butts to my leg and a great amount of purring when I sat down on the steps trying to refill the hummingbird feeder. Today was a very happy day!

I don't have a title for this post

I guess I should call this post....taking a break. I have been so busy with work my poor blog hasn't been getting the attention it should. I am going to have to take a longer than expected break from blogging. I will return as soon as things slow down. I have no idea when that will be and with the economy as bad as it is I am very happy to be working so much. I know several people that have lost either their home or their job due to the bad economy. I hope things turn around soon! Well off to do homework for my job! If anyone wants to leave any comments or questions I will continue to check the blog. :)
